There are two kinds of membership in the Episcopal Church: Baptized and Confirmed members. A Baptized member is any person baptized by water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who by his or her presence and participation in the worship and life of this parish, affiliates here. A Confirmed communicant is a baptized member who has also been Confirmed with the laying on of hands by an Episcopal bishop, or other bishop in the apostolic line (i.e. Roman Catholic Church or Evangelical Lutheran Church of America).
If you are already a member of another Episcopal Church and would like to transfer your membership to St. David's, please contact the Rector and ask that your letter be transferred.
Those desiring to be Baptized, Confirmed or Received (those already confirmed by a bishop) are asked to take part in preparatory classes as the opportunity presents itself. Please contact a member of the clergy.
All new members are encouraged to attend St. David's 101: “Welcome To Our Community of Faith” classes, offered twice a year, to learn more about the Episcopal Church, the Christian Faith, and St. David's in particular.
