Education for Ministry, affectionately known as EfM, is a program of theological education-at-a-distance that began at the School of Theology of the University of the South. Individuals sign up one year at a time for this four-year program. It covers the basics of a theological education in the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy and theology. The program emphasizes thinking theologically by developing one's ability to balance through reason, christian scripture and tradition with contemporary culture. Indivduals meet regularly under guidance of trained mentors. For more information please contact a clergy member, Jay Buzzini or Susan Willcox.
