St. David's Episcopal Church & School

St. David’s 101:  “Welcome To Our Community of Faith” is offered twice a year at 9:15 a.m. Sunday Mornings.  Our fall series will begin September 20, 2009.  This class is for newcomers to the church or folks who want to refresh their understanding about the church. 

ü     Session 1,  Telling Our Story-Similarities and differences
                         within the Christian tradition. 
 
ü     Session 2,  Exploring Our Tradition-Exploring Anglicanism;
                        "scripture, tradition and reason". 

ü      Session 3, Living Our Faith- Worship, Sacraments, Scripture. 

ü      Session 4, Sharing our Blessings- Ministries, life at St. David’s,
                         and the baptized ministry of the church. 

ü  Session 5, Welcoming Our Bishop-  Our Bishop will lead our session at 9:15 a.m. and he will confirm, receive or reaffirm anyone who would like to formalize their membership at St. David's during the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, October 25, 2009.
