Serve San Antonio
Towne Twin Village
Housing First Community Coalition has created Towne Twin Village, a permanent support housing community of tiny homes, to serve the city's chronic homeless population of individuals over the age of 50 with disabilities or other risk factors. All are welcome to join us to serve a hot meal to residents on the first Sunday of every month. The group meets at 9:30 a.m. in the kitchen to finish preparing the meal then leave after a blessing during the 10:30 worship service. It is a wonderful experience for anyone from middle school age and up. Snack Pak 4 Kids
St. David's has provided Snack Paks for over 200 children at Wilshire Elementary since 2014. Snack Pak for Kids is an organization that partners with churches and corporations to provide meals to food insecure children every weekend during the school year. For many children in the program, this is the only form of sustenance they receive during the weekend. A hungry child can not learn. Let's help fill the hearts and minds of the children in our neighborhood. A one time $100 donation will provide weekend meals for a child for the whole school year. Your $12/month directly and immediately impacts a child's life forever.

Little Library/Little Pantry
Did you know our Little Free Library on the Crestwood lawn doubles as a Little Free Pantry? Did you know the one in front of Wilshire Elementary School does, too? You can help us keep them BOTH stocked with much-needed non-perishable food items (think canned goods, peanut butter, pasta, etc). This service opportunity is simple, rewarding, and fun...and a great activity to do with your kids!

And if you're cleaning out books, the Little Library side could use children's books!
*If the Library/Pantry is full, food and books can be dropped off in the church office to be used to refill as needed.
Kids on a Mission
Service to others is so important in the life of our church, and how better to get that instilled early than with regular service projects for children? Kids on a Mission meets between the worship services once a month, and kids ages 5 and up are encouraged to participate! The projects usually serve other children in the surrounding communities and neighborhoods.
