Gracious and generous God,
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude. St. David’s has been the source of blessing for so many. We offer thanks for the many gifts you have given us—our time, our talents, and our resources. Help us remember always that these gifts are not solely for our own benefit, but are entrusted to us so that we may serve others. Guide us to be good stewards of all that You have given, that we may use our unique gifts to minister to one another, sharing joyfully as a reflection of your love and grace. Inspire us to give not out of obligation, but with thankful hearts, recognizing that in sharing, we are enriched and strengthened as a community. Let our acts of kindness and generosity echo your light, drawing others to experience the joy of your presence. Fill this parish family with hope, courage, and the spirit of giving, so that St. David’s may continue to flourish and serve as a beacon of your love in the world. We pray this in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen.
"God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. As it is written, ‘He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever.’ He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us; for the rendering of this ministry not only supplies the needs of the saints but also overflows with many thanksgivings to God." - 2 Corinthians 9:8-12
